137. Why Work-Life Balance Doesn’t Work—And What to Do Instead with Special Guest Steven Langer
Mar 11, 2025
If you find yourself caught between the stress of work demands and the pressures of home life, this episode is just for you. Teachers often find it especially challenging to find a balance between doing everything they feel they need to for work and maintaining their personal life and well-being. I am so excited to have Steven Langer join me today to talk all about maintaining wellness in both the workplace and in your personal life.
Steven Langer is a former teacher and principal who transitioned to focus on organizational wellness with his company, Well by Design. Steven is sharing valuable insights on fostering positive workplace cultures and redefining the concept of work-life balance into what he describes as "work-life coherence." We are also diving into the importance of self-awareness and communication, the difference between rest and sleep, and how dopamine hacking can help your brain recognize your accomplishments.
